Art Direction + Design for Artist IDK

2023 • Art Direction, Design, Content Creation

For the past two years, I have led design for IDK's creative team with creative direction from IDK. Most recently, I helped create the rollout for F65, an F1-themed album using the platform of racing to have a conversation about race. The rollout consisted of a custom-wrapped Mercedes 190e and Formula race car. We also produced a "hot wheels" style replica of the Formula car. Finally, to complete the racing kit, we partnered with Lanvin to produce a set of bespoke race suits for the cover and other appearances, including IDK's first Coachella performance.

Additionally, we collaborated with Nike to create the FREECOAST Airmax collection. I also designed the band merch for Sector 202, a secret jazz band assembled by IDK and Jim Lang, the original music composer for the show "Hey Arnold."

Aside from collaborations, I designed and photographed the entire album merch capsule collection, available on the upcoming tour.

Brand + Design Director at No Label

2018 - Present • Art Direction, Design, Branding, Content Creation

For the past four years, I have volunteered as the Brand and Design director for No Label, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that partners with hip-hop artists to create educational experiences. Since its inception, we have worked with artists including Travis Scott, Bad Bunny, and others to shed light on criminal justice reform, entrepreneurship, and many other topics. In 2021, we also created a music business course, No Label Academy, at Harvard University. The course creates a pipeline for those from marginalized communities into the music business improving equity. I was the creative lead and helped raise upwards of $500,000 from sponsors, including Logitech, Apple, Nike, Guess, Jordan, and Converse. Aside from helping to raise capital, I helped design the classroom and the website and created all social content. The course featured speakers such as Virgil Abloh, Tremaine Emory, Amber Grimes, and Reggie Saunders. I continue to serve as Brand and Design director as we plan on hosting the course again in August 2023.

Sales + Content at Billy Reid

During my junior year at American University, I landed a job as a sales associate at Billy Reid. Over two years, I created social content for them while learning the fundamentals of size, fit, and tailor their luxury garments. This unconventional opportunity proved pivotal in my career, igniting my curiosity and creative drive.

As a production designer at Media Monks, I worked on a global team supporting one of the largest brands in the world with digital asset creation. I produced over two thousand marketing assets at Media Monks, and this detail-oriented job taught me the value of thoughtful design planning for collaborative work.
